Construction Necessitated Route Change Notice:  During Construction activities on Bridge Street, the bus pick up point for stop 1 (Bridge at Town Line) has been moved to South side of Town Line at the West side of Bridge.  Also the pick up point for the Train Station stop #4 on Coleman has been moved to the West side of Moore St at the Coleman intersection (same side of Coleman). 

 

New Passengers: When boarding the bus please ensure that you inform the Bus Driver of your the stop you wish to get off at, LCT in an effort to save time on the routes will not stop at drop off points for which nobody on board the bus intend to to get off at.

1) Sales outlets! - Shoppers Drugmart will be selling LCT trip passes, CP Arena, CP Pool, Suite 209, 92 Bridge, 103 Judson.  
 
2) Post Secondary Students take note!, The monthly fare for students has been reset to $130 per month which includes transfer capability to the OC Transpo and OTrain systems. This is a possible alternative to renting in Ottawa or driving to Ottawa for post-secondary education. These monthly passes are available now to those who have a valid student ID.  
 
 
3) Parking at the Arena, we have received a complaint about parking, if you are using the arena Park-N-Ride please park your vehicles next to the fence alongside the  ball diamond. Stay tuned for changes to the pickup location at the arena as well.

Within the business plan of Lanark Community Transit, LCT is the central connecting point for all public and commuter transit operations within the County of Lanark and Smith Falls.  LCT Monthly Pass Holders have direct transfer capability to the OC Transpo network.  No other service provider offers this service. As such, Carleton Place is the main point of connectivity to Ottawa for commuters and public transit users from the following communities:
